Love, Anger, Pain and Forgiveness

I have had a lot of time on my hands over the past few weeks and that gave me alot of time to think about life, anger love pain and forgiveness and how they all intertwine so beautifully and tragically at the same time. Some wise men have stated that without love there is no pain, I want to bring that one step further and say that without love there is nothing at all, no anger no resentment no fear nothing to give us direction or tell us we where we have gone wrong. Love is the binding factor of the world around us. Think with me for a second, why can people who are madly in love break up after on episode of unfaithfulness towards one and other? If your partner in life is unfaithful to you or hurts you in some way this makes you angry and you believe you have the right to anger and pain in these types of situations. But why not forgive, and let go? The reason you are so angry is because this person hurt you, but the only reason their actions hurt you are because you love them, if you had no love for them what they did would have no affect on you. So the next time you are angry or upset at someone close you, realize that the only reason your upset is because you love that person, and the basis of love is forgivness, so forgive them and that pain and anger will eventually subside. Now if every person on this planet lived like this, there would be a lot less wars, a lot more marriages working out, and a heck of a lot more happy people. Love is what hold us together and loving one and other is whats gonna keep this world free...

Minecraft: A Legacy or a letdown?

Minecraft , the name on the lips of hundreds of thousands of gamers worldwide. It is a game that has literally taken north America and Europe alike by storm. All created in the basement of a certain someone known only as "Notch" to his beloved fans.

Now one would think that a game that sold almost 900'000 copies without even entering beta must be some sort of wild graphically intensive game with an intriguing story line. Well it seems that the opposite is true. Minecraft is what is known as a "sandbox" game one in which the player can alter the environment to his/her choosing this means that the game itself has absolutely no real goals and no NPC's. On top of this the graphic content is what one might call atrocious: the textures are all simple 16 but textures, there isn't a single curved line in the game and up until the last update the lighting was somewhat lacking.

"So if the game is technically pointless and has horrible graphics with no storyline then why play it?" One might wonder. The reason is simple: Freedom. Minecraft allows players to build what they want with what they want when and how they want to. There are very few games that have this amount of detail content wise and allow the user to control so much of what goes on. Can any true adventure fan really say that they wouldn't want to be able to manipulate the world their playing in to the nth degree? Minecraft has found that balance and it seems will continue to hold it for quite some time as the game is still selling strong and has yet to come out of beta. Great game notch, and I can say for certain that Minecraft will always be remembered in the world of Pc gaming.
